Fundraising Woolly Lilly Bug Drier Balls
Sadly Lilly bug passed away no words can tell you the sadness that we endure, this year has been so difficult beyond anything we have ever experienced
At times you feel the pain is to much, then you remember all the sheep and lambs that survive and you know you have no choice but to keep going
These wooly balls are in memory of one of the most precious loved lambs ever
Lilly Bug came to us a few months ago, due to leg deformity _ we were told that she had been born a triplet with 2 large lambs which caused her misshapen front legs. For a few months we have strapped her legs to try to correct but sadly there was no change. Our vet has told us the likely cause is due to a bone disease ( suspected Schmallenberg) when she was inside her mum :o(
Having looked further into this and due to the she is not growing much then we believe this is the correct diagnosis.
We have been told the only option would be to operate _ right now this is not an option as we know she would not survive the stress.
Right from the first day she arrived, she was besotted with her human dad _ she would instantly try to climb from my arms if Cristian appeared and snuggle into his arms and fall asleep. The love between them is mutual and if Lilly bug does not make it, hearts will be shattered. We value every moment with her as there are no guarantees _ this comes with running a rescue sanctuary.
Our sanctuary is struggling right now as funds are seriously depleted and we are working hard to raise much needed funds
